Foreign media reported that Greg Josweak, vice president of global marketing of Apple, said at the event that Apple would eventually respect the decision of the European Union and would have to switch to Type-C on the iPhone and other devices that still use the Lightning interface.

The iPhone 15 may switch to Type-C interface in the autumn of 2023 and the iPhone 14 series will be the last product with Lightning interface in the iPhone family.

In addition, the basic iPad will be turned to Type-C later this year. AirPods, Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad will also gradually transition to Type-C interfaces.
